VC LIVE | 2022 Klein Worldwide String Competitors Semi-Last Spherical [WATCH]


 

We’re coming to you from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music this afternoon for the Semi-Last Spherical of the 2022 Klein Worldwide String Competitors.

The competitors, which has been operating for over 35 years, is a distinguished nurturing floor for younger string gamers aged between 15 and 23. The competitors affords a complete of $30,000 price of prize cash, and in 2022, the gamers shall be mentored by previous winner and VC Artist Tessa Lark.

In 2022, the jury shall be comprised of Richard AaronChristopher CostanzaFrancesca de PasqualeDaniel StewartIan Swensen, and Barbara Day Turner. This 12 months’s commissioned work shall be written by composer Gloria Justen.

Earlier winners of the Klein competitors embrace Jennifer Koh (1993), Vadim Gluzman (1993), Alban Gerhardt (1989), Tessa Lark (2008), and Nikki Chooi (2009).
