VC LIVE | Colburn College Recovered Voices: Schulhoff and Extra

We’re coming to you from Los Angeles, California for 3 performances from the Colburn College Ziering-Conlon Initiative for Recovered Voices.

This on-line collection delves into the life and music of Erwin Schulhoff (1894–1942), who was one among many composers whose works have been banned throughout the years of the Nazi regime in Europe.

Performances by Colburn musicians are featured all through the collection—most of which have been recorded on the top of the pandemic. Colburn Conservatory graduate scholar Adam Millstein assumed a management position as scholar curator for this undertaking, assembling Colburn artist-colleagues to carry out and report.
