VC LIVE | Salon de Virtuosi “East Meets West” Live performance [WATCH]


 

We’re coming to you from the Consulate Common of India in New York Metropolis for a particular “East Meets West” live performance offered by Charlotte White’s Salon De Virtuosi.

This live performance options Indian-American violinist Maya Anjali Buchanan with pianist Zitong Wang (performing music from the West) and the Salon’s longtime collaborator and mentor Samir Chatterjee performing the tabla, and Seema Gulati taking part in the sitar. This program options music by Grieg, Saint-Saëns, and Chatterjee.

Salon de Virtuosi has been supporting excellent younger musicians on the early phases of their careers since 1989, with beneficiant profession grants and efficiency alternatives.

Among the many artists offered in its earlier years embody Gil Shaham, Lang Lang, Philippe Quint, Pablo Sainz Villegas, Conrad Tao — and VC Artists Josef Spacek, Paul Huang, Zlatomir Fung, Nathan Meltzer, and Yesong Sophie Lee.
