Two new violinists have been appointed to the Boston Symphony Orchestra within the first half of 2022, each of them graduates of the New England Conservatory. They’re Jenny Ahn, who joined the First Violin part in March, and Sophie Wang, who joined the Second Violin part in April.
Ahn hails initially from South Korea, the place she started learning the violin on the Sunhaw Arts College and the Korea Nationwide Arts College Pre-School. Upon ending faculty, she immigrated to the US to obtain an undergraduate diploma on the Colburn College and a grasp’s diploma from the New England Conservatory.
Since 2014, she has been taking part in with the Boston Symphony and the Boston Pops Orchestra, in addition to the Chicago Symphony and the Rhode Island Philharmonic, amongst others.
