Winners Introduced at 2022 Basic Strings Violin Competitors

The 2022 Basic Strings Violin Competitors passed off on the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Music Corridor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for the Last Spherical, which you’ll watch right here.

Violinist Dumitru Pocitari (Moldova/Israel) received first prize and a particular prize devoted to a finalist with “probably the most pure, lovely sound.” Elena Tarosian (Armenia/Russia) and Elli Choi (USA) acquired second and third prize, respectively. Particular prizes have been additionally awarded to Anna Lee (Korea/USA) and Wang Xiaozhuo (China/Austria).

Pocitari acquired €100,000, consisting of €50,000 in money plus a tour of 10 live shows with a complete honorarium of €50,000.

Over the three day Last Spherical, every finalist carried out alongside the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
